Description
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Part-Time, 72 Hours) - Northwest Medical Center - Tucson, AZNorthwest Medical Center, the largest hospital system in Southern Arizona, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join its NICU team in Tucson, Arizona, for a Part-Time (72 hours per pay period) position. This is a 100% inpatient opportunity in a high-acuity neonatal intensive care setting, offering strong physician collaboration and structured shift coverage.
At Northwest Medical Center, you'll be part of Community Health Systems (CHS), a national network of regional hospitals with a shared mission to deliver high-quality care where it's needed most - close to home.
Shift & Schedule Highlights
- Part-Time Commitment: 72 hours per pay period.
- Weekday Shifts: 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM (Monday through Friday).
- Weekend Shifts: 2:00 PM - 8:00 AM.
- (PRN shifts may also be considered).
- Clinical Setting: 100% inpatient, high-acuity NICU environment.
- Procedures: Must be fully competent and comfortable performing standard NICU procedures.
- Support: Travel expenses covered for out-of-area candidates during shifts.
- Malpractice: Medical malpractice coverage is included.
- Board-Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP).
- Dedicated, prior NICU experience and formal Neonatology training required.
- Active Arizona state nursing license or the immediate ability to obtain one.
- Competitive hourly shift-rate compensation.
- Annual CME allowance.
