Medical Aesthetics and Vein Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

This is a full-time office-based clinical role at three office locations focused on driving the aesthetics division while supporting leg vein care within our established vein practice. You will work closely with Dr. Thompson in a collaborative medical environment. The role emphasizes clinical care, device-based aesthetic treatments, support for compliant vein procedures, and operational contributions to ensure high standards. This is a medical office, not a med-spa.

Clinical thinking comes first. This is not a sales job. All aesthetic plans are reviewed in conjunction with Dr. Thompson. 

Injectables (Botox/filler) are not the emphasis of this role at this time, although we will offer them. If you have injector training, that is welcome — but this position centers on medical laser treatments, aesthetics, peels, and integration with vein care.

We do not pay retail commissions and we do not push product. A commission-driven approach can conflict with proper medical care. If you are seeking a high-pressure, retail, or commission-heavy environment, this is not the right practice.

What You’ll Do

Deliver device-based aesthetic treatments with a primary focus on lasers. 
Perform medical and cosmetic chemical peels.
Support leg vein care workflows as needed, including triage, follow-ups within scope, patient education, preparation, and procedural assistance.
Bridge medical vein care with aesthetics — assisting patients in transitioning between medical treatments and appropriate cosmetic enhancements.
Provide administrative and operational support: develop protocols, manage clinical inventory, review documentation, and maintain photography standards.
Document all services thoroughly with consistent, high-quality before/after photography.
Deliver comprehensive aesthetic treatments and individualized plans grounded in a knowledge of facial anatomy, skin physiology, and the aging process.
Prioritize patient safety, clinical best practices, and long-term skin health.

What We’re Looking For

Active Mississippi NP/PA license in good standing.
Strong experience using lasers is the most important qualification for this role.
2–3+ years of aesthetic or dermatologic/plastics experience preferred, with hands-on device experience (lasers, RF microneedling) and chemical peels highly valued. 
Steady hands, excellent technique, and a conservative aesthetic eye.
Strong administrative discipline — protocols, documentation, and photography standards.
Patient-centered mindset with genuine clinical thinking.
In-depth knowledge of facial anatomy, skin physiology, and aging changes.
Experience treating skin of color is a strong plus.
Commitment to continuing education and staying current in aesthetic medicine.
Polished, professional, and warm communication style.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Base Salary: $115,000 – $145,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Performance Bonus: 10% of net aesthetic profit (calculated after all direct and allocated costs, including your base salary, supplies, disposables, marketing, travel, depreciation on practice-owned equipment, and overhead). The practice covers the cost of laser and aesthetic equipment – you will not be charged or responsible for equipment purchases. Not based on retail commissions or product sales. No production bonus is paid during the first year. (or until the aesthetics division reaches consistent profitability).
