Kidney Specialists of South Texas, P.A. is a leading nephrology practice based in Corpus Christi, Texas. For more than two decades, they have proudly served kidney patients throughout the Coastal Bend region.
Kidney Specialists of South Texas is expanding and seeking passionate NPs or PAs to join their dynamic team.
- Preferred backgrounds – internal medicine exposure or nephrology experience is preferred, but not required.
- Comprehensive training provided – online modules, mentorship, and check-ins scheduled to ensure a smooth transition into nephrology.

Hiring Package:

Schedule/Practice Details:
- Dialysis limited visits
- Outpatient clinic
- No call expectations
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree program in nursing with a nationally recognized course content, formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements
- Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
- Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health, thus, resulting in improved patient outcomes.
- Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations.
- Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
- Knowledge of documentation in medical records in confidential manner.
