Children’s Nebraska is recruiting for Pediatric and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join our esteemed Transport teams, due to significant growth.
These incredible teams transport patients to our new, state-of-the-art Hubbard Center for Children, which is a Level 2 trauma center consisting of a 20-room emergency department, 32-room cardiac care unit, 32-room pediatric intensive care unit, and 52-room neonatal intensive care unit. Our level 4 transport team is the only team in Nebraska specializing in the care of neonatal patients, and we have one of the first Neuro-Neonatal Intensive Care Units in the region.
Children’s Nebraska operates and maintains the fleet of four ground ambulances, while Air Methods Corporation operates and maintains the air fleet. We have received The Gold Standard of Nursing Excellence, Magnet Recognition four times, an honor achieved by only 2% of hospitals nationwide. Furthermore, the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems awarded Children’s Nebraska Pediatric & Neonatal Transport accreditation on April 9, 2019.

Requirements:
- 3 years Critical Care or Neonatal Care experience in a nurse or provider role OR
- Critical Care or Neonatal Transport experience
- NNP-BC - Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified, OR
- CPNP-AC - Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care
